FoodOp welcomes new board chair and member as it enters a new chapter of growth

Copenhagen, September 25, 2025 – FoodOp, the SaaS co-pilot for professional kitchens, is delighted to announce the appointment of Jesper Lykke Wacherhausen as its new Chair of the Board and Camilla Ley Valentin as a new board member. Their arrival marks the beginning of a new chapter for FoodOp, as the company prepares to build on its strong entry in the UK, scale into new markets, and bring the power of AI to professional kitchens.

Jesper Lykke Wacherhausen brings deep sector expertise from the contract catering industry, most recently serving as CEO of Meyers, the WSH-owned caterer in Denmark. In addition to a strong commercial track record, Jesper has extensive experience with digitisation, making him uniquely positioned to guide FoodOp as it continues to transform how professional kitchens manage purchasing, menu planning, and sustainability.

Joining Jesper on the board is SaaS pioneer Camilla Ley Valentin, co-founder of Queue-it. With first-hand experience in building a successful global SaaS company, and with current board roles at TechBBQ and Danmarks Eksport- og Investeringsfond (EIFO), Camilla brings both entrepreneurial and international scaling expertise that will be invaluable as FoodOp expands.

Together with FoodOp’s pre-seed investor, The Footprint Fund, Camilla and Jesper will also support the management team as it prepares for the upcoming fundraise.
